Osbit sets sights on the future

2020 has been a big year for Osbit, turning 10 years old, having our largest order book to date, along with our largest and most capable team. All continuing through what has been an immensely challenging year for everyone.

In order to better position Osbit for future growth and the opportunities of the changing markets, we’re delighted to announce that Robbie Blakeman has been appointed Joint Managing Director alongside current Managing Director, Brendon Hayward. One of our core values is “Better Everything” which applies not only to our technology, but to all parts of the business, including our leadership team.

Joint Managing Director Brendon Hayward explains:

“What we have achieved in 10 years despite the market fluctuations has been immense. We have a truly incredible team. However, we are constantly looking forwards at how best to position ourselves for future opportunities. Robbie and I have always worked extremely closely with our strengths complimenting each other. This change reflects our working relationship and our joint ambitions for the business. In order to continue our success, we must continue to evolve and change, ensuring we continue to position our people and clients front and centre of our business. I’m very excited about what we have planned for this new chapter of Osbit’s journey.”

Joint Managing Director Robbie Blakeman continues:

“Brendon and I have a common vision for what our amazing team can achieve and how we can bring Osbit to more customers. This role change allows us to work-together even more closely to drive the business forward and ensure we continue to deliver for our customers and our people. We are proud of our unusual flat company structure and project centric organisation, which had enabled us to deliver the technology that our customers need when they need it; this new role allows me to assist Brendon even more effectively in delivering on our core values over the coming years.”

Osbit’s success is built on our staff at every level, strengthening the leadership team for the long term continues to demonstrate our commitment to our clients. Having recruited a further 12 new team members in the last eight weeks, we are proud to be leading technological innovation in the rapidly changing energy market.
